Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualifications :
1. ME/M.Tech or equivalent Degree should be in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks of all Semesters or 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale or equivalent with the pre-eligibility qualification of BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) or equivalent should also be in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks of all Semesters or CGPA of 6.5 on a 10 point scale.
2. MSc or equivalent Degree should be in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks of all Semesters or 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale.
Age Limit : Candidates wishing to apply for Scientist/Engineer post, their age should not be above 35 years and who wish to apply for Jr researcher post, their age should be between the age group of 18 years to 30 years as on 20th April, 2014.
Mode of Selection : The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make the candidates eligible to be called for interview. There will be an initial screening based on the academic performance and other parameters given in the on-line applications and only those screened-in will be called for interview.
Pay Scale : Rs. 15,600 - Rs. 39,100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/- per month.
Application Fee :
1. Candidates will be required to pay Rs. 100 in the form of Demand Draft.
2. SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates are exmpted from submission of application fee.
Note : The candidate before filing his application has to take a DD for Rs.100/- from any of the Nationalized Bank in favour of the Accounts Officer, ISRO Satellite Centre, Bangalore, payable at Bangalore.
How to Apply : Candidates can fill the form in 2 steps :
1. First Step : Candidates are first required to fill application form through online mode at ISRO website. Candidates have to fill all the details as required in the form.
2. Second Step : After filling the form online, candidates have to take print out of application form and attach all required documents such as Educational, Age, Experience, Caste, a copy of DD and more supporting attested documents . Send the same at the address given below through post
