Educational Qualification : 
1. Technical Assistant (Laboratory Technician): Bachelor’s degree (Zoology/Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology / Fisheries Science/ Food Science/ Food Technology) or equivalent qualification.

2. Technical Assistant (Field/Farm): Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Sociology/ Statistics/Economics/ Social Sciences .

3. Technical Assistant (Press & Editorial) Hindi Translator: Bachelor’s degree in Hindi Language or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.

4. Stenographer Gr.III: 12th Class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.

5. Lower Division Clerk: 12th Class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University with A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer

6. Lower Division Clerk (Hindi Typist): 12th Class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University with a typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer

7. Skipper Grade II: Matriculation or equivalent qualification with Certificate of competency as Skipper and Five years practical experience on board fishing vessel after obtaining Mate Fishing Vessel competency Certificate.


Application Fee : 
1. General/OBC Candidates are required to pay Rs. 200 in the form of Demand Drdrawn in favour of “ICAR Unit – CIFT” payable at Cochin.
2. Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST category are exempted from payment of application fee.

Selection Process : The final selection of the candidates will be based on initial screening of the applications, followed by a Written Test/ Interview.
