Union Bank of India, a leading listed Public Sector Bank with Head Office in Mumbai and having Pan India and Overseas presence , invites ON LINE applications for recruitment of Specialist Officer posts, i.e 2 vacancies for Economist post and 40 vacancies for Security Officer post.

Eligibility Criteria :
Age Limit : Minimum 21 years and Maximum 35 years.
Educational Qualification : Candidates intends to apply should have completed Graduate Degree in any Discipline with 60% marks from a University/Institution/ Board recognized by Govt of India.
Selection Process : Candidates will be selected after clearing written test. Candidates shortlisted in written exam, will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview round.
A. Written Examination Pattern : Examination Structure is given below. Total Duration of Examination will be of 150 minutes and Total 200 Questions carrying 200 Marks.
B. Group Discussion : 50 marks (held to assess the candidate's presentation skills, leadership qualities, inter-personal qualities, team spirit etc.
C. Personal Interview : 50 marks (shall be conducted to assess the candidates‟ academic record,power of expression, clarity of thought , qualities of leadership, extracurricular activities, hobbies, general demeanor, behavior, communication skills, suitability for the post, etc)
Application Fee :
1. General and OBC Candidates are required to pay Rs. 600/-.
2. All Others candidates are required to pay Rs. 100/-.
Procedure for Applying Online :
1. Candidates need to open the Bank website www.unionbankofindia.co.in
2. Click on the link "Recruitment" under "career" page to access
the Recruitment notification titled "UNION BANK RECRUITMENT PROJECT 2014-15 (Specialist Officer) – Link for Notification and Online Application”.
3. At the End of notification, Kindly Click on " Click here to " Apply Online".
4. Enter your Basic Details and upload in the online application form. Candidates will have to upload their signature and photograph as per specifications.
5. After filling all the details, candidates are advised to verify every field filled in the application and now click on "Submit" Button.
Note : The Candidates can apply only for one post.
