UP PCS Exam 2014 www.uppsc.up.nic.in | Combined State Upper Subordinate Services Examination 2014
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has issued a circular/ Advt No: A-1/E-1/2014 for inviting Online Application forms from eligible candidates for filling up 300 vacancies of various posts. UPPSC will Hold UP PCS Exam 2014 (Combined State Upper Subordinate Services Exam 2014) for recruitment of candidates in various Departments. Meritorious Candidates who want to appear in PCS Exam 2014, may fill online application form using UPPSC website from 24th April, 2014 to 26th May, 2014.

Age limit : Candidates age should be between 21 years and 40 years as on 01.07.2014. i.e born not earlier than 02.06.1974 and not later than 01.07.1993. For PH Candidates : max age is 02.07.1959.
Educational Qualification : Bachelor's Degree from any recognized University. Qualification is specific for some posts as stated below :
1. Sub Registrar, Asstt. P.O. (Transport) : Law Graduate
2. Distt. Horticulture Officer Grade-2, Distt. Horticulture Officer Grade-1/ Supdt. Govt Garden : Science Graduate in Horticulture (Ag.) Equivalent Degree in B.Sc. Ag. or Horticulture.
3. Distt. B.S.A./ Associate DIOS and Other equivalent administrative posts, Distt. Administrative Officer : Post Graduate Degree
4. Distt. Cane Officer, U.P. Ag. Service Group “B” (Dev. Branch): Agriculture Graduate
5. Distt. Audit Officer (Rev. Audit) : Commerce Graduate
6. Asstt. Controller Legal Measurement (Grade-I) : Degree in Science with Physics or Mechanical Engg. as one subject
7. Asstt. Director Industries (Marketing): Post Graduate Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce or Technology or Post Graduate Degree in Textile Industries of any recognized Institute or minimum Graduate Degree in Textile Technology.
8. Asstt. Labour Commissioner : Degree in Arts with Sociology or Economics as a subject or Commerce/Law.
9. Distt. Programme Officer : Degree in Sociology or Social Science or Home Science or Social Work
10. Sr. Lecturer, DIET : Post Graduate Degree with B.Ed.
11. Distt. Probation Officer : Post Graduate Degree in Psychology or Sociology or Social Work or any qualification equivalent thereto or Post Graduate Diploma in any Branch of Social Work from any recognized Institute of Social Work
12. Designated Officer : Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry as one of the subjects from a recognized University
13. Statistical officer : Post Graduate degree in mathematics or Mathematical Statistics or Statistics or Agricultural Statistics from recognized university
Selection Process : Selection will be based on Preliminary, Main Written Exam followed by Personality/ Interview Test. Candidates will be shortlisted after every phase on the Examination.
Application Fee :
1. General and OBC Candidates are required to pay Rs. 115/-.
2. SC/ST Candidates are required to pay Rs. 55/-.
3. Handicapped Candidates are required to pay Rs. 15/-.
Process to Apply : Candidates are strongly advised to Deposit the Fee in the Bank before filling online application form. Candidates can apply On-Line through UPPSC website www.uppsc.up.nic.in before 26th May, 2014.
