Government of Karnataka will hold Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test 2014 on 01st June, 2014 to appoint the B.Ed, qualified and talented candidates on Teacher Posts . TET is eligibility gateway for the candidates to become Primary Teacher (Class I to V) or Upper Primary Teacher (Class VI to VIII) in schools run by Govt or Pvt management. Eligible and Desired candidates may fill Karnataka TET 2014 Online Application form through Online mode from 20th April, 2014 to 03rd May, 2014. More details are mention below.
Karnataka TET 2014 Notification Details :
Name of Examination : Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET 2014)
Eligibility Conditions for Karnataka TET 2014 :
Educational Qualification : The following persons are eligible for appearing in the KARTET
1. Min. Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I to V ( Primary Stage) : PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
B.A / B.Sc Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education .
2. Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI- VIII: Elementary Stage :
B.A / B.Sc Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)
OR
PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A /B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed /B.Sc.Ed.
3. Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I – VIII : B.A / B.Sc Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Karnataka TET 2014 Examination Fee : Each Candidates have to pay Rs. 10 as Service Charge along with Exam Fee. The Fee can be remitted through Computer generated challan , the Fee is to be deposited in cash to CAC Account with State Bank of Mysore.
Structure of Karnataka TET 2014 Exam : TET Exam will consists of Multiple choice questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct . There will be no negative marking for wrong answer. There will be 2 papers of KTET 2014.
1. Paper I : For those candidates who want to become Teacher for Classes I to V.
2. Paper II : For those candidates who want to become Teacher for Classes VI to VIII.
Karnataka TET 2014 Examination Schedule : The Schedule is mentioned in the table.
Steps for On-line Submission : Candidates can apply "On-Line" through Kar TET website www.caconline.in . Candidates are urged to supply all the details carefully. Candidates are required to take print out of the computer generated confirmation page with registration number and Address Slip and retain it for future use.
Kindly follow these simple steps to apply online :
1. Kindly fill the Registration form first , link is given below.
2. Fill the Karnataka TET 2014 Online Application form by opting "Login" section using registration number and password.
3. Supply the Personal Details and Generate Challan to pay Examination Fee at SBM.
4. Upload Scanned image of photograph and signature.
5. Download Confirmation Page/Generate Application form and retain it.
