IB Recruitment 2014 - Personal Assistant & Jr. Intelligence Officer (JIO) Online Application
Online Applications are invited from Indian nationals for direct Recruitment to the posts of Personal Assistant (PA) and Junior Intelligence Officer (JIO) posts in Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India. Aspirants fulfilling eligibility conditions may apply Online through IB website www.mha.nic.in . Last date for Online registration is 02nd June, 2014.

Name of Posts :
1. Personal Assistant : 42 posts
2. Junior Intelligence Bureau : 32 posts
Eligibility Conditions :
Age limit : Candidates should attained the age of 18 years but not attained the age of 27 years as on closing date i.e June 02, 2014 for registration of Applications. The upper age limit is relaxable by five years for SC/ST and three years for OBC candidates.
Educational Qualification : Qualification will differ for both posts as stated below.
1. For Personal Assistant : Candidates must possess following essentials :
a. 10+2 pass or equivalent with proficiency in stenography
b. Dictation: 10 minutes@ 100 words per minute.
c. Skill test on computer-transcription of shorthand, 40 minutes (English) and 55 minutes (Hindi)
2. For Junior Intelligence Officer : Matriculation with two years Industrial Training Institute (ITI) passed certificate in Radio Technician or Communication or Computer or Electronics or Electrical.
Pay Scale :
1. For Personal Assistant : Rs. 9300 - Rs. 34800/- and grade pay of Rs. 4600/- (PB-2), plus other allowances at Central Government rates.
2. For Jr. Intelligence Officer : Rs. 5200 - Rs. 20200/- and grade pay of Rs. 2400/- (PB-1) plus other allowances at Central Government rates.
Recruitment Process : Candidates will be selected based on the performance in written test, Stenographic Test/Skill test cum Interview . Selected Candidates will be subject to successful completion of their character and antecedent verification and thereafter medical examination.
Examination Fee :
1. General and OBC Candidates should make online payment of Rs. 50/-.
2. SC/ST/Women Candidates are not required to pay any fee.
Process for e-submission of Application :
1. Candidates need to log on to website www.mha.nic.in
2. Online Application form in divided in 2 parts viz. Part I
and Part II.
3. Candidates are first required to fill Part I form , in which they have to enter their personal, academic and other particulars of the candidates.
4. Now in Part II , upload their scanned copy of signature and Photograph and then Select option for payment of Fees.
5. Before submitting the online applications, the candidates must preview the application to ensure that they have provided correct information and uploaded correct photograph and signature.
6. Now submit the Online Application form, candidates are not required to send hard copy of printed application form.
