State Bank of India invites applications from eligible, young and talented Indian nationals for appointments as Assistant in Clerical cadre . SBI has 5199 opening for Clerk Posts. Interested Candidates may apply by filling SBI Online Application form 2014 through SBI Online portal www.sbi.co.in between 26th May to 14th June, 2014.

Name of Posts : Assistants in Clerical Cadre
Eligbility Criteria for Clerk Posts :
Educational Qualification : Candidates wishing to apply for Clerk post, must ensure eligibility criteria, they should have completed a Degree (Graduation level) from a recognized University , or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central/State Government.
Note : Those who are in the Final year of the graduation/Semester may also apply provisionally subject to the condition.
Age Limit for Clerk post : Candidates age should not below 20 years and above 28 years as on 01.05.2014. i.e, Candidates born between 02nd May, 1986 and 01st May, 1994 (both days inclusive) .
Mode of Selection : Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the Online test and Interview taken together.
Online Examination Pattern : Test will be online Objective Type, consisting of
1. General Awareness
2. General English
3. Quantitative Aptitude
4. Reasoning Ability
5. Marketing Aptitude/Computer Knowledge.
Each portion will be off 40 marks. For these objective type tests of total 200 marks candidates will be given a composite time of 2 Hours 15 minutes. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests.
Emoluments : Rs. 17,500 per month
Pay Scale : Rs. 7,200 to Rs. 19,300/-.

How to Apply : Candidates are required to register themselves Online through Bank's website www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in . After online Registration, candidates are required to pay fee through either Online (using Debit/Credit card /Internet banking) or off line mode.
**Candidates should have valid email ID which should be kept active till the declaration of results **
