Gujarat TET-I 2014 www.ojas.guj.nic.in GTET Exam, Online Application form
Gujarat State Examination Board has issued a notification about the commencement of Gujarat Teachers Eligibility Test (Gujarat TET-I 2014). GSEB invites Online Applications from Indian nationals for appearing in Gujarat TET-I Exam 2014 that will be held on 03rd August, 2014. Wiling candidates can fill Gujarat TET-I Online Application form from 27th June, 2014 to 08th July, 2014. The Details like GTET notification, Eligibility criteria, syllabus, selection process and process to fill online application form all are mentioned below.
Name of Exam : Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test (Gujarat TET-I 2014)
Name of post : Primary Teacher of class I to V
Eligibility conditions for TET-I 2014
Educational Qualification for gujarat TET: For those candidates who want to become teacher of Class I to V : Must have passed in senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45 percent marks. those appearing in final year Diploma in Elementary Education/4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed)/2 year Diploma in Education in Special Education are also eligible. or Candidates with B.A/B.Sc with at least 50% marks and B.Ed Qualification can also apply.
TET is compulsory Examination for all the B.Ed qualified candidates to be considered for teacher jobs in schools run by govt and private managements.
Selection Process : Eligible Candidates will be appointed on Primary teacher post only on the basis of merit prepared upon marks obtained in TET Exam.
Gujarat TET Exam pattern And Exam Syllabus : TET will be off one and half hour and will contain multiple choice questions having 150 questions of 150 marks.
Topics covered under TET Exam are mentioned below :
1. Child Development and pedagogy
2. language I
3. language II
4. Mathematics
5. Environmental Studies
Each Section will contain 30 quiz and 30 marks. Each MCQ is of one mark. There is no negative marking for any wrong answer.
Application Fee for Gujarat TET-I :
1. Candidates belonging to General/OBC Candidates need to pay Rs. 350 for appearing in TET Exam.
2. SC/ST Caste candidates need to pay Rs. 250 for TET Exam.
Process for filling TET Online Application form : Candidates must fill online application form for TET 2014 from the website on 27th June, 2014. Now follow the given steps
1. Log on to website www.ojas.guj.nic.in
2. Click on "Apply Online"
3. Apply Online for TET-I 2014. Now fill all the details like educational qualification and other details.
4. Now click on "Save button" , an application number will be generate .
5. note down the application form and upload the scanned photograph and signature at the appropriate place.
6. Make payment through challan or online mode.
7. At last click on submit button and save the application form for downloading admit card and Exam.
