SAIL, a Maharatna Company, and a leading steel-making company in India, invites Online Applications for the following Non-Executive Posts like Operator-cum-technician (OCT) and Attendant-cum-Technician (ACT) posts for its integrated Steel Plant at Burnpur. Eligible Candidates have to fill Online Application form through SAIL website for desired posts. Eligibility Conditions :
Age Limit : Min age for all the post is 18 years. Max age in years as on 01/06/2014.
A. For Boiler Operation :
1. General Candidates : Max age is 30 years.
2. For SC/ST Candidates : Max age is 35 years.
3. For OBC Candidates : Max age is 33 years.
B. For Trainee :
1. General Candidates : Max age is 28 years.
2. For SC/ST Candidates : Max age is 33 years.
3. For OBC Candidates : Max age is 31 years.
Essential Qualification :
1. For Operator-cum-technician : Matriculation with 3 years full time Diploma in engineering in Automobile/Ceramics/Chemical / Civil/Electrical/Electronics or Electronics & Communication/ Instrumentation/Mechanical/Metallurgy/Production discipline from Govt. Recognized Institute or with 2nd Class or 1st Class Certificate of Boiler Competency.
2. For Attendant-cum-Technician : Matriculation and ITI (full time) in Air-conditioning & Refrigeration/Draughtsman (Civil)/ Draughtsman(Mech)/Electrician/Electronics Mechanic/Fitter/ Machinist/ Mechanic Motor Vehicle/Mechanic Diesel/Turner / Welder trades from Govt. Recognised Institute.
Mode of Selection : Initially candidates will shortlisted on the basis of performance in written examination. Then shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview, in addition to the interview, they shall also be subjected to a Practical test.
Consolidated Pay during training period :
1. In First year :
a. For the post of OCT : Rs. 10,700/-.
b. For the post of ACT : Rs. 8600/-.
2. In Second Year :
a. For the post of OCT : Rs. 12,200/-.
b. For the post of ACT : Rs. 10,000/-.
Application Fee :
1. Unreserved Candidates need to pay Rs. 250 for OCT posts.
2. Unreserved Candidates need to remit the amount of Rs. 150 for ACT posts.
3. SC/ST Candidates are exempted from payment of Application fee.
How to Apply :
1. Before applying , candidates should have valid e-mail ID, pay in Slip and scanned copy of passport size color photograph and signature.
2. Candidates would be required to register their applications through Online mode only from SAIL website.
3. After applying online, the candidate is required to download colored system generated Registration Slip with unique registration number and other essential details.
4. Send the same with documents in support of their Qualifications, Caste, Age, Certificate of Boiler Competency and ISP’s copy of the Bank Challan at the following mentioned address .
