The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) invites Applications from eligible Indian nationals for the Non-Teaching posts like Laboratory Assistant posts i.e to be filled by direct recruitment/deputation. Eligible Candidates may send their prescribed application format on or before 15th July, 2014. More details are mentioned below.
DIAT Recruitment details :
Number of vacancies : 10
Name of posts : Laboratory Assistant
Pay Band : Rs. 5200 to Rs. 20,200/-.
Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualification : Before applying, candidate must possess following qualifications :
1. Bachelor‟s degree in Science with at least a Second Class or its
equivalent grade in the following discipline or
Three Year‟s full time Diploma in the required discipline with at least a first class or its equivalent grade duly recognized by board of technical examination; in the following disciplines and
2. Proficiency & knowledge of computer application and operations
Age Limit : Max age is 28 years.
Probation: 01 year for Direct Recruitment (Out of which 06 Months as „Trainee‟ with a stipend @ Rs.7600/- per month, consolidated)
Application Fee :
1. General/OBC Candidates need to pay Rs. 300/-.
2. SC/ST/PWD Candidates are exempted from payment of Application fee.
Note : Fees is to be paid in the form of crossed DD drawn in favor of “Vice Chancellor, D.I.A.T.(DU), PUNE”, payable at State Bank of India, Girinagar Branch (Code 02155), PUNE-411025.
Procedure to Apply : Candidates are required to apply in dully filled applications form . Applications form are available at DIAT website. Send filled application along with Application fee in the form of DD, Attested copies of educational qualification certificate (s), Caste Certificate(s) and other testimonials in support of experience etc. to the following address :
