Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company Limited (GESCOM) invites Online Applications from qualified and Eligible Candidates for recruitment to the post of Assistant Lineman in GESCOM. Interested Candidates may apply by filling Assistant lineman Online Application form from 16th June, 2014 to 16th July, 2014. Name of Posts : Assistant Lineman
Pay Scale : Rs. 7,950 to Rs. 16,790/- per month.
Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Lineman :
Educational Qualification :
1. For ITI Candidates : Should have a pass certificate of 18/24 months course in “Electrician/ Electronics/Electronic Mechanic” trade from Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) recognized by Government of Karnataka.
2. For ITC Candidates : Should have passed 10th Standard Examination and should have a pass certificate of THREE YEARS “Lineman trade”/“Electrician trade” (ITC) imparted by the Industrial Training Institutes of KEB/KPTCL.
Age Limit : Candidates applying for Assistant lineman post, must have attained the age 18 years but not crossed the age of
i. 35 years in case of General Merit candidates.
ii. 38 years in case of Category IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB candidates.
iii. 40 years in case of SC/ ST and Category I candidates.
Mode of Selection : Candidates will be selected on the basis of Merit only, based on the marks secured in the Qualifying Examination Only. Eligible Candidates will be called for Endurance Test in the ratio of 1:5 . Medical Examination will be conducted from the Competent Medical officer during the endurance test.
Application Fee :
1. Rs 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred Only) in respect of candidates belonging to General Category and Category-I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB.
2. Rs 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ ST category.
3. Candidates can pay the Application fee by using Net Banking option, any Bank ATM cum Debit card, Internet Banking.
How to Apply : Candidates should submit the Applications only through "ON-LINE" mode by logging on to www.gescom.in . After submitting the application ON-LINE the candidates should obtain the printouts of acknowledgement and challan.
