Prasar Bharti invites applications in the prescribed proforma for recruitment of Newsreader-cum-Translator posts in various states. Designation of Posts : Newsreader-cum-Translator
Essential Qualification : Candidates should have done Graduation Degree with English and respective language . Candidates must also possess Typing Speed of 35 w.p.m. in English and must be familiar with Computer Applications.
Age Details : Not less than 21 years and not more than 45 years as on 30/06/2014. The applicant may note that engagement on contractual basis in NSD: AIR will not confer any right for regularization of service in this Organization.
Remuneration : Rs. 23,000 per month
Method of Selection : A written Examination will be held to shortlist the candidates . Candidates securing marks 50% marks and above in the written Examination will be called for Voice Test and Interview.
Application Fee :
1. General Candidates need to pay non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 300/-.
2. SC/ST/OBC Candidates need to pay non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 225/-.
How to Apply : The candidates are required to send dully filled application form in an envelope at the mentioned address. The envelope containing the application in the prescribed format should be super scribed with “ Application for News reader-cum-translator (Indian Languages) in NSD, AIR to be engaged on contract basis”.
