India Army Recruitment as Territorial Army Officer - TAO Application form
Applications are invited from gainfully employed young men for serving the nation as "Territorial Army Officer". Interested Candidates who want to join territorial Army as as Officer post may send their application in dully filled prescribed format so as to reach to the concerned address on or before 30th June, 2014. Further details regarding Territorial Army recruitment like qualification , selection process, exam syllabus for officer post are stated below.

Designation of posts : Territorial Army Officer
Eligibility criteria for Territorial Army Officer :
Educational Qualification : Candidates should have done Graduation from any recognized University.
Note :: Serving Employees of Armed Forces/Police/Para Military
Forces are not eligible.
Age Limit : Candidates should have attained the age of 18 years but not crossed the age of 42 years as on 30th June, 2014.
Selection Procedure : Preliminary Interview Board (PIB) will call those candidates for Screening (written exam and Interview) whose applications form are found correct. Successful Candidates will further undergo a Service Selection Board (SSB) and Medical Board for Final Selection.
NOTE : Candidate who passed written test of PIB are required to bring the requisite (mentioned in notification) attested documents by a Gazetted officer at the time of interview.
Written Examination pattern : Examination contains 2 parts. Syllabus of both parts are mentioned below.
1. Part -I : Short Essay
2. Part-II : - Objective type question on General Awareness
includes issues related to Political / Economical affairs, International Situation and Sports.
How to Apply : All Desirous Civilian Candidates can obtain Application form from Employment newspaper or download from www.indianarmy.gov.in and send it along with self addressed stamped envelope of 28 x 12 cms size, two passport size
photographs and postal stamps worth Rs.12/- (Rs. 25/- for J&K) affixed on envelop (NO OTHER COST FOR SUBMISSION) to the respective TA Group Headquarters as per the area.
