UPSC Indian Forest Service Examination 2014 - IFS Exam Online form
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites young, dynamic and talented professionals for appearing in Indian Forest Service Examination 2014 that preliminary exam will be held on 24th August, 2014. Commission will conduct a Screening Test for selection to IFS (main) Examination 2014 through Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam, 2014.
Eligible & Desirous Candidates may apply for IFS Exam by filling IFS Exam Online Application form 2014 on or before 30th June, 2014. The candidates are advised to go through the requirements of educational qualification, age etc. as mentioned below to check their eligibility for Apply.

Eligibility Conditions for appearing in IFS Exam 2014 :
Educational Qualification : Candidates should have completed Bachelor's Degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering.
Age Details : Candidates wishing to apply for IFS Exam 2014, must ensure that their age belong to the age group of 21 years to 32 years as on 01st August, 2014, i.e Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02nd August, 1982 and not later than 01st August, 1993.
Mode of Selection : Commission will hold Examination for IFS post . The Indian Forest Service Examination will consist of two successive stages
1. Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective type) for the selection of candidates for the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, (AND)
2. Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination (Written and Interview) for the selection of candidates for the Indian Forest Service.
Application Fee :
1. General/OBC Candidates need to pay Rs. 100 either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using Online banking facility of SBI .
2. SC/ST/PWD/Women Candidates and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
How to Apply : Aspirants would required to fill IFS Online Application form through Online from the UPSC online portal www.upsconline.nic.in between 31st May, 2014 to 30th June, 2014. Take print out of filled online application for future reference.
