Uttarakhand Police, Govt of Uttarakhand invites applications in prescribed format for filling the 339 vacancies of Sub Inspectors (SI) posts. Name of Posts : Sub Inspector (SI)
Pay Scale : Rs. 9,300 to Rs. 34,800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-.
Eligibility Conditions for SI post :
Age Limit : Candidates age should be between 21 years to 28 years as on 01st Jan, 2014, i.e born between 01st July, 1986 to 01st July, 1993.
Educational Qualification : Candidates should have completed graduate Degree for applying to SI post from a recognized University/Institute.
Selection Process : Eligible Candidates will be selected on the basis of their merit list that will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Written examination and Physical Efficiency Test.
Written Examination Pattern : Examination will consist Objective Type Questions and carry off 300 marks. Syllabus of Written Exam is mentioned below :
1. General Hindi : 100 marks
2. General Knowledge or Mental Aptitutde Test : 200 marks
Application Fee :
1. Reserved Candidates need to remit the amount of Rs. 25/- only.
2. General and OBC Candidates need to remit the amount of Rs. 100/-.
