Indian Coast Guard offers excellent opportunity for 3 years Technical Diploma Holders to join as Yantrik -01/2015. Online Applications from unmarried Indian citizens are being invited for recruitment to the post of Yantrik in ICG, as Armed Force of the Union. Eligibility Conditions for yantrik post : 

Age Limit : Candidates intending to apply for Yantrik post , must be 18 years old and should not be more than 22 years old , i.e between 01st Feb, 1993 and 31st Jan, 1997.  Upper age Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC Category Candidates.


Educational Qualification : Candidates should have passed Matriculation (10th Class) and Have done 3 years Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engg with 60% in aggregate from Board/institute recognized by Board of Central/State Govt.

Pay Scale for Yantrik Posts : Rs. 5200 to Rs. 20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-.


Selection Procedure : Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of higher percentage of marks in the Diploma for a particular Examination. Shortlisted Candidates will be called for Written Test. 
1. The Written test will be Objective type. The Questions paper will contain questions from their respective branch (Mechanical /Electrical/Electronics & Telecommunication).
2. Candidates qualified in written test will undergo Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Interview and Initial Medical Examination.

Candidates are strongly advised to read instructions given below for filling online application are : 
1. The name, Father's/mother's name and date of birth should be as given in the 10th class certificate.
2. Email ID and Mobile Number are complusory . Keep alive both of them till the end of Recruitment process.
3. The Date, time and Centre of Test will be informed through personal E-mail ID.
4. On Successful submission of online application, a unique Application/Registration number will be provided to the candidates. Note down this application number for future reference.
5. Kindly take 3 print out of filled e-application form for submission at the time of Interview.
