Assam PSC Recruitment 2014 - Forest Rangers Application form
The Assam Public Service Commission invites Applications from eligible Indian nationals for filling up 45 vacancies of Forest Rangers in the Assam Forest Service Deptt. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility Criteria laid down may send their application form in prescribed format on or before 08th August, 2014. Assam PSC Recruitment 2014 Complete vacancy Details :
Number of vacancies : 45
Designation of posts : Forest Rangers
Pay Scale : Rs. 8000 to Rs. 35,000 + Grade Pay Rs. 4500/-.
Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualification : Candidates should have done Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering of any recognized university with at least one of the relevant subject mentioned in the notification.
Age Details : Candidates age must not be less than 21 years or more than 38 years of age on the 01st Jan, 2014. The Upper age limit will be relaxed in the case of Schedule Caste/Tribes candidates up to 05 years.
Min. Physical Standard :
1. For male candidates : Height is 163 cm or Chest girth is 84 cm
2. Female Candidates : height is 150 cm and Chest girth is 79 cm.
Selection process : Candidates whose applications are accepted successfully will be required to appear in written examination after which they will be interviewed.
Application Fee :
1. Unreserved Candidates need to pay Rs. 5 as original Treasury Receipt and Rs. 50 as Examination fee.
2. SC/ST Candidates need to pay Rs. 2.50 as original Treasury Receipt and Rs. 25 as Examination fee.
How to Apply : Candidates are required to download the Application form for the Forest Ranger post from the website www.apsc.nic.in . Send the dully filled application form along with 2 copies of recent passport size photograph and other certificates at the concerned address.
